A LONGSTANDING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE U.S. FORESTRY SERVICE AND C.C. FILSON CO.

In the 1940's a standardized version of the Mackinaw Cruiser was issued to outfit the U.S. Forestry Service. In 2016 C.C. Filson Co. made a Limited Edition Mackinaw Field Watch to commemorate their continued relationship outfitting industry workers.

For 112 years, the United States Forest Service has been caretaker of America’s most cherished natural resources: our public lands. Through their tireless efforts, 193 million acres of grasslands and national forests are ours to explore and cultivate-now and for generations to come. As part of our celebration of the Forest Service, Filson is introducing a limited-edition collection of products, restoring a historic lookout tower and telling the stories of those who protect, manage and cultivate our natural resources.
